MacMurray students to show work

MacMurray students will exhibit their recent work this coming month, beginning with an opening reception on Thursday, Nov. 7 from 6-8 p.m at the Applebee Gallery, in the Putnam/Springer Center, located at the southeast corner of Clay and State streets on the MacMurray College campus. The opening is free and open to the public.
Among the students showing an eclectic selection of paintings, sculpture and 3D and 2D artwork are: Megan Luckey (work pictured), a senior from Springfield, IL, who is majoring in the Interpreter Training Program (American Sign Language) and is the daughter of Daniel Luckey of Springfield; Jennifer Cox, of Gilman, IL, a sophomore art major and the daughter of Greg McMillan and Renee Cox of Gilman; Jessie Ligocki, of Catlin, IL, a sophomore art major and the daughter of Michael and Mita Ligocki of Catlin; Katie Workman, of Berthoud, CO, a freshman nursing major and the daughter of Robert and Laurie Workman of Berthoud; and Breanne Pelker, of Scheller, IL, a junior double majoring in art and psychology and the daughter of Walt and Karen Pelker of Scheller.
The exhibition continues through Dec. 7 at the Applebee, which is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment at 479-7092 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
