Writing instructor gives talk at high school press association in Texas.

JACKSONVILLE, IL – Thomas Winski, of Jacksonville, a writing instructor at MacMurray College, gave a talk, “Questions, Anyone?” this month at a joint conference of the Journalism Education Association and the National Scholastic Press Association in San Antonio, TX. The presentation was based on a chapter from the textbook he co-wrote, Journalism, Writing for Publication, published by The Center for Learning.

The annual conference of the two associations, held Nov. 15-20, brought more than 4,500 high school journalists across the country to San Antonio.  Before coming to MacMurray, Winski taught high school and college journalism for 35 years, teaching in colleges in Illinois, Kentucky and Kansas.
