MacMurray students show artwork
Senior Amber Centi’s photographs highlight show.

JACKSONVILLE, IL – The opening of the MacMurray College Senior Exhibition and Student Show will be 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Applebee Gallery in the Putnam/Springer Center, at State and Clay streets on the MacMurray campus. The show is free and open to the public.
Highlighting the show will be work by senior Amber Centi, of Clearfield, Penn., who will give a brief artist’s talk at 6:15 p.m. Centi’s photography is a series of black and white silver gelatin prints dealing with the idea of solitude and emptiness.
Several other MacMurray students will join her in showing works, including:
- Caylee Blair, a nursing student from Colfax, IL.
- Charlie Clark, a junior in criminal justice from Staunton, IL.
- Jessie Ligocki - freshman art major from Catlin, IL.
The show continues at the Applebee Gallery through Dec. 13 and is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
