MacMurray celebrates Broadway

JACKSONVILLE, IL – "Love, Broadway," a musical revue, will debut Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Marian Chase Shaeffer Theatre in the Education Complex on the MacMurray College campus. The concert is free and open to the public.

MacMurray students, staff and area residents will perform nearly a dozen love songs from such Rogers & Hammerstein musicals as "The King and I," "Oklahoma," "South Pacific," and "The Sound of Music."

Love, Broadway is directed by Laurie Lewis, MacMurray music director, and Rich McCoy, Jacksonville High School theater teacher and director of numerous musicals and plays in Jacksonville and Springfield. The Education Complex is located on Hardin Avenue on the east side of the MacMurray Campus and just north of Town Brook.
