Musician, actor to perform at MacMurray

JACKSONVILLE, IL – Rick Hall, a 1981 graduate of MacMurray College, and his wife, Laura, will perform as part of the MacMurray Homecoming festivities. The performance will be 8:30 p.m. in the Bailey Auditorium at Julian Hall, which faces Clay Street south of the intersection of Beecher Avenue.

 The couple often performs together, but they both have successful independent careers in music, television and movies.

             Rick Hall is a comedian, actor and filmmaker. His film Slice of Pie was filmed in Carrollton, IL, his hometown. He has appeared in a number of network TV shows, including “Seinfeld,” “Saving Grace,” “ER,” “24” and others.

 Laura Hall is in the band, “The Sweet Potatoes,” and has recorded two CDs of original, faith-based music. She has also composed music for several films, but is best known as the improvisational pianist and band leader on Drew Carey’s TV show, “Whose Line is it Anyway.”

 The event is free and open to the public.
