MacMurray Physical Education students traveled to Winchester Elementary School Feb. 17 to assist Tracy Eisenhauer, a 1990 MacMurray graduate, with a successful Jump Rope for Heart Event. About 400 pre-K though sixth graders at Winchester participated. Mac students assisted with monitoring the students and event jumping. The event raised $10,976 for the American Heart Association.

Jump Rope for Heart is a national fundraising program sponsored jointly by the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and the American Heart Association. The event promotes physical activity, heart-healthy living, and community service to children.
