Professor’s works selected for show
Khara Koffel to have two sculptures in Chicago-area exhibition.

Two works by Khara Koffel, associate professor of art at MacMurray College, have been selected for the Twenty-Four Maximum show at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights. The juried show will run Feb. 14 to March 9 at the Christopher Art Gallery at the college.
The works selected are “the inescapably inevitable” and “when all else fails.” The exhibition presents two- and three-dimensional works of less than 24 inches in any direction.
For the piece “when all else fails” (pictured) Koffel transforms her ever-present to-do list into the shape of prescription pills.
In recent months, Koffel has had numerous works selected for a half dozen juried shows, including exhibitions in Chicago, St. Louis and California.
