Mac prof’s work shown
Khara Koffel has piece selected for Kansas show.
Khara Koffel, associate professor of art at MacMurray College, had one of her pieces selected for a national, juried show at Pittsburgh State University in Pittsburgh, KS.
The piece “attempting to mend the distance,” will appear in the exhibition “Visual Territory,” which runs Feb. 4 through March 4 at the university gallery. The show, which solicited work from around the nation, was selected by Sherry Leedy, the owner of a respected contemporary art gallery in Kansas City, Mo.
In recent months, Koffel has had numerous works selected for a half dozen juried shows, including exhibitions in Chicago, St. Louis and California.
