Ensemble Chaconne to perform Monday
MacMurray’s Fine Arts Series continues with free concert.
Ensemble Chaconne will perform at MacMurray College this Monday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Thoresen Recital Hall in the Springer Center, at the corner of South Clay and East State Street on the campus of MacMurray College.
Before performing at MacMurray, Ensemble Chaconne will do an in-studio performance and interview on 91.9 WUIS/89.3 WIPA Monday, October 11 at noon.
Now celebrating its 25 season, the Boston-based ensemble will perform “European Masters of 18th Century London” on period instruments. The performance is free and open to the public.
MacMurray will hold the next event in its Fine Arts Series on Friday, Nov. 12. Arts Alive: A Celebration of Visual Art, Music, and Theatre, will include a showing of the work of visual artist Chris Valle, a performance by the MacMurray Choir, and a theater production of “Vanities,” by Jack Heifner.
