New fitness equipment will be available to MacMurray students and athletes when they return to campus this fall. The Green Family Foundation donated just over $20,000 to support the purchase of new equipment. The cardiovascular and strength equipment includes new treadmills, upper- and lower- body weight machines and medicine balls.

“The new equipment was ordered to benefit both our general student population as well as our student-athletes,” said Dane Pavlovich, Athletic Director. “Not only will the Mac students have the chance to work out on new equipment, but the coaching staff has done a tremendous amount of work to make sure both the cardio and weight rooms have a newer, cleaner look.“

The athletic staff helped improve the fitness facilities. They came in during the evening throughout the summer to paint the cardio and weight rooms. They also replaced the carpet in the cardio room with rubber flooring.

The Green Family Foundation in Biddeford, Maine has supported MacMurray in the past. The Foundation supports efforts to fund higher education, the arts and Christian agencies.
