2014 Livewire Award Winners
Neil '61 and Joan Shaw '58 Williams Livewire Award
For years, College Trustee Neil Williams '61 and his wife Joan Shaw Williams '58 were strong supporters of the Livewire program. They supported the success of this vital fundraising effort by sponsoring a special award to the individual who has the most pledges to his/her name. Tragically, Neil passed away in 2009. To honor his memory, Joan and many other members of the Mac family created the Neil' 61 and Joan Shaw '58 Williams Livewire award fund. This endowed fund exists to provide an annual monetary academic award to the student caller with the most pledges at the close of Livewire. This credit may be used towards any expenses the student incurs while obtaining their MacMurray education.
With a grand total of 60 pledges, this year's Williams Award went to Antonio Blackmon-Nelson.
