Thank You
The dedication and commitment of MacMurray College alumni, parents, and friends is truly appreciated; however we know merely saying "thank you" is insufficient. We hope that you can accept our gratitude for the many ways you support the College. The entire MacMurray College community benefits from your giving. Listed below are some of our efforts to recognize your support and share how others are supporting Mac.
Scholarships
In 1846, a group of forward-thinking Methodists founded MacMurray College. We look back over the years with pride at what we have accomplished, look forward with confidence to new successes, and think gratefully of the alumni, donors, parents, and friends who make our progress possible.
The Development Office is committed to building relationships with you, our strongest supporters, in order to facilitate your philanthropic goals as you assist our students in achieving their dreams.
Our students benefit from your gifts in many ways. Students receive the scholarships you fund. They study and play in facilities built and maintained with your donations. They learn from faculty who are supported by your contributions. They participate in programs expanded through your assistance.
To make a gift or to begin a conversation exploring your philanthropic interests at MacMurray please visit our Make A Gift section of the website for more information or feel free to contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 217-479-7024 or development@mac.edu.

"Going back to school was a tough decision to make, but thanks to kind donors of my scholarship, I was able to return and pursue a History degree and will be graduating this Spring. I hope one day to be able to follow their example and help another student in attending college in order to fulfill their dreams, like the Henderson’s have mine." Nathan Doyle ’11 |

"I am very glad that there are generous people like Mrs. Betty Overbey Hamm ’47 to give scholarships to people who can benefit from them, like I have. I am one of the very first to continue an education higher than high school in my family and with this scholarship you have given me the opportunity to succeed and I look forward to graduating with Bachelor of Fine Arts degree this May."
