
Volleyball team celebrates season with award banquet

The MacMurray College volleyball team awarded six players for their achievements during the 2012 season.
- Kelsey Pembrook of Greenfield, IL was named Best Hustle. The sophomore special education major is the daughter of Maria Pembrook of Greenfield, and Larry and Cindy Pembrook of Greenfield.
- Coach’s choice went to senior nursing student Brooke Clemmons of Fisher, IL. She is the daughter of Marvin and Kim Clemmons of Fisher, and Wendy and Paul Luna of St. Charles, IL.
- Senior Taylor Soat of Galena, IL, was named Best Co MVP Offense. The deaf and hard of hearing education major is the daughter of Tim and Tami Soat of Galena.
- Alex Boyer, a freshman nursing major from Fairfield, IL, was named Best Co MVP Offense. Boyer is the daughter of John and Stacie Boyer of Fairfield.
- Freshman Aly Ferrari of Dwight, IL, was named MIP. She is the daughter of Paul and Melissa Ferrari of Dwight.
- Junior social work student Sammy Jo Petefish was named MVP for MacMurray’s volleyball team. The Ashland, IL native is the daughter of R.L. and Holly Petefish of Ashland.
