Football player Cody Hussey is a sophomore from Phenix City, AL. Hussey was named the UMAC Offensive Player of the Week for November 3rd. In the month of November he totaled 280 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. He also tallied 150 yards rushing and one rushing touchdown.
Women’s basketball player Kelsey Anderson is a senior from Worthington, IN. During the month of November, Anderson tallied 12.8 points per game, three rebounds per game, and two assists per game. She also shot 36% from the three point line. This puts her in the top 10 in three point shooting in the conference.
SAAC Student-Athletes of the month are voted on by the 10 member Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Voting criteria includes: statistics, community projects, high academic standing, team morale, etc. Each coach in season nominates one player.
