The MacMurray College baseball team snapped a 10-game losing streak with a 6-4 conference win at Greenville College Wednesday night.
Senior right-hander Jake Columbia was the winning pitcher for the Highlanders. Columbia pitched the first four innings and allowed one unearned run. John Brockhouse, John Hilliard and Kyler Smith also threw for MacMurray; with Smith picking up his first save of the year.
Offensively, the Highlanders were led by Jeremy White, who went 3-4 with two runs batted in and a walk. Austin Cory went 2-5 with a double and an RBI, and Aaron Krummrich went 2-5 with a double and a run scored.
Coach Justin Fuhler's club improves to 9-20 overall and 5-15 in SLIAC conference play. The Highlanders will host Westminster College in a three-game series beginning with a single game on Friday (3PM start) and a doubleheader on Saturday (12/2).
