February 7, 2014

The MacMurray College women's basketball game fell just short in their bid for a comeback victory last night in a 67-63 loss at Blackburn College.

Junior center Megan Duisen led the Highlanders with fifteen points and five rebounds.  Freshman forward Carley Prince added thirteen points and five boards; and senior guard Gabby Douglas had ten points and a team-high four assists in the loss.

Coach Derek James' club falls to 3-16 overall and 2-10 in SLIAC conference play.  The Highlanders will be on the road tomorrow at Webster University (Noon tip-off) in another league contest.
