The MacMurray College women's basketball team got balanced scoring in Saturday's 64-51 loss to Webster University; unfortunately no one scored in double figures for the Highlanders.
Senior guard Gabby Douglas led Mac with eight points and KayDee Carmody and Megan Duisen chipped in with seven points apiece in the loss. Coach Derek James' club also committed 25 turnovers in a game that saw the Gorloks race to a big lead in the second half.
Webster University had three players score in double figures, led by Brittany Harris-Conway's sixteen points. Cassie Endicott and Courtney Pursley added fifteen and fourteen points, respectively.
The loss drops the Highlanders record to 3-13 overall and 2-7 in SLIAC play; while Webster University improves to 9-7 and 6-3 in league play.
MacMurray College travels to Iowa Wesleyan College on Wednesday and will host Greenville College next Saturday in a pair of conference contests.
