The MacMurray College men's basketball team improved to 3-1 overall with a 122-66 victory over St. Louis College Saturday night in Wall Gymnasium. Coach Todd Creal's club scored 70 second-half points and shot a blistering 67% from the field in their lopsided win.
Senior forward Brady Slagle had a team-high eighteen points and six other Highlanders scored in double figures. Dylan Burton had fourteen points on 7-8 shooting; and Dylan Smith had twelve quick points in the second half. Other Highlanders in double-figures included Dylan Guthrie (11), Cole Busch (11), Paul Crowder (10) and Hunter Sutton (10). Clayton Whitlock added eight points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Michael Hull led the visiting Soldiers with a game-high thirty points and LeDarrius Roberson added fifteen in the loss.
MacMurray College will travel to Eureka College on Dec. 4 when they open up SLIAC conference play against the Red Devils.
