We Are Mac
Mac Mission
Academically and athletically we strive to be the best we can be, constantly learning and improving to reach our max potential collectively and individually.
Mac Pride
Mac Pride is a tradition at MacMurray that describes what it means to be a part of Mac Football.
Passion — football is a tough sport and takes passion to be successful at over the long term.
Responsibility — being a part of a team sport requires individuals willing to accept responsibility for their effort and performance.
Intensity — intent focus on the task at hand is required to be successful.
Determination — football as life is full of ups and downs. Those who persist will be champions.
Effort — in order to fulfill the meaning of Mac Pride, great effort has to be given at all times.
Mac Family
We at Mac Football take Family very seriously. Our individual families are very important but so is our Mac (Football) Family. We are a brotherhood, striving daily for the same goal – Championship effort and Championship performance.
In order to maintain a healthy Mac Family, two characteristics are required and are non-negotiable:
Honesty — Do not lie, cheat, or steal: be honest with your instructors, coaches, parents, teammates, and yourself.
Respect — Show respect and appreciation for all: instructors, coaches, teammates, officials, and yourself.
