Program Structure
Adult Degree Completion courses will be taught over an eight-week term. Each course will meet two Saturdays within the eight-week term.
Blended Instruction
Though part of the work for the course will be completed face-to-face, the primary intent of this instructional delivery is to promote learning through online instruction.
The normal schedule for a weekend course is Saturday all day, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The times will be separated into different sessions according to the instruction of each particular course. All courses will break an hour for lunch.
Instructional Expectations for Students
The instructional expectations are
- Students will be engaged in course material during the whole eight-week period. Assignments and activities will be occurring before, during, between, and after the Saturday class sessions.
- Students must be prepared for the Saturday class sessions. Assignments and activities needed to be completed in preparation for the weekend class sessions must be done in order to promote the best use of that instructional time.
- Attendance at all Saturday sessions is mandatory.
