MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL is looking for an intern assistant football coach for the 2014-2015 school year. This position will coach WRs and have recruiting responsibilities. There is NO stipend for this position. Room and a partial meal plan will be provided. Candidates must demonstrate a passion to coach and mentor young men, understand appropriate teaching methods, communicate well with young men and fellow coaches and cooperate well within a coaching staff.
- Coaching WR positions.
- Academic monitoring.
- Recruiting an area.
- Instructing strength and speed workouts.
- A secondary coordinating duty TBD such as: video, strength & speed, equipment, operations, academic liaison, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and/or Athletic Director.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Collegiate playing experience and/or coaching experience.
- Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Must have a clear commitment to working in an undergraduate liberal arts environment and at an NCAA Division III institution.
